National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology

The National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) was established on February 1, 2018, through the merger of three universities, becoming the largest technological university in Taiwan. As a technology university, NKUST has brought the strengths of the three former universities - strong ties to industry, innovation and entrepreneurship, and marine technology - to the new university and achieved synergy by integrating complementary resources and functions.

National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei)
Founded in 1912, the National Taipei University of Technology is one of the oldest technical colleges in Taiwan. It enjoys a high reputation among technical companies at home and abroad.

Since 2016 there is an active exchange of students between the WHZ and the National Taipei University of Technology. This mainly concerns the Faculty of Applied Languages and Intercultural Communication.

Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages (Kaohsiung)

The Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages is the only foreign language university in Taiwan. It offers a broad spectrum of European and non-European language courses and has (with 850 students of German studies) the largest German department in Taiwan.

Since 2010 there is a regular exchange of students, especially with the Faculty of Applied Languages and Intercultural Communication.
