Dr.-Ing. Xiaoli Chen

Dr.-Ing. Xiaoli Chen is a research associate at the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (WHZ) and works on the YiQi – Saxony–China Cooperation Platform project funded by the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMTRF). Her main areas of work focus on digitally supported German–Chinese collaboration, particularly in Industry 4.0, production and logistics systems, and digital platforms. A special emphasis is placed on building sustainable cooperation structures between universities, research institutions, and industry in Germany and China.

Helge Gerischer

Since 2011 Helge Gerischer has been a research assistant at the WHZ, coordinating the Industrial Engineering and Management (WI) program of the CDHAW and, since 2014 the Mexican-German University Cooperation (MDHK) of the German University Consortium for International Cooperation. Besides the operational coordination of the student and lecturer exchange of the DHIK for WI, his main tasks are the development and accreditation of international double degree programs, mainly with Chinese universities.

Benjamin Schreiber

Benjamin Schreiber is a research associate at the Center for Micro- and Nanotechnologies at Chemnitz University of Technology. He coordinates the YiQi China Competence Center project, a joint initiative of Chemnitz University of Technology and the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau. His work and research interests focus on building expertise for academic and economic exchange with East Asia, particularly China. A key emphasis is on connecting stakeholders and experts on China-related topics in Saxony, including through exchange formats such as the China networking roundtable for entrepreneurs and researchers.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Christian-Andreas Schumann

Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Christian-Andreas Schumann is Professor of Business Information Technology at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau. His research focusses on the complex design of business systems as well as factory and production informatics. Furthermore, he is involved in curricular development. At the WHZ, he is the initiator and supervisor of the CDHAW project, which enables Industrial Engineering students to study at Tongji University in Shanghai.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Teresa Werner

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Teresa Werner is Professor of Quality Management and Production Measurement Technology at the Faculty of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau. She teaches at the Institute for Production Engineering. She was a visiting scientist at the State Key Laboratory of Metrology at Tianjin University, Tianjin, China for one year. She also participated in research conferences in Osaka (Japan), Daejeon (Korea), Busan (Korea) and Tsukuba (Japan). Her central project at the WHZ is the cooperation with Tianjin University to establish scientific cooperation and student exchange.
